Hello I'd like to introduce myself, My names Steve I'm 27 and I live in Bury.
I've recently got into Kite flying and my wife bought me a Prism Jazz stunt kite for my birthday.
On just it's second flight at felixstowe beach I decided to let my mate have a go on it while i got some food out of the car. I returned to discover that my mate had done a few too many loop to loops and my lines had somehow tangled together in some kind slip knot.
I was wondering if this is commen and if so is it fixable?
Any feedback would be much appreciated
thanks

Hi Steve,
That must have been alot of spins! Presumably you have ended up with a tangled mess... this doesn't really happen that often. Is the kite OK and did the lines get tangled onto the kite?

Untangling lines is time consuming and boring, but usually achievable.

New lines that would meet your needs would probably cost about £10 from kiteworld.co.uk.

Let me know how you get on, when I get home from work I/ll have a look in my shed, I've probaly got an old set of lines kicking about that would do until you want to take your flying further than loops and figure 8's.

Yan :D

The kites fine it's just one knot holding the lines together and it's far too small and tight for me to do anything with.
I've just bit the bullet and bought some Hq dyneema lines for it.
I really want to come to rougham on sunday and meet a few people. If my lines haven't arrived and you have some spare ones i could borrow for the day (if your thier) that would be very much appreciated.
Cheers buddy!
